I just installed Zorin-11-32-core-32 under VMware Player running on a Windows 10 system. At no time during the installation was I asked for a user name or password. When I try to run Zorin it comes up and presents a login screen. What do I enter since I was never asked this during setup.

I have installed Linux Mint and Ubuntu on the same VMplayer and both asked for this during installation.

I am wondering if it is a VMware Player compatibility issue? Zorin is tweaked in a specific way such that some USB thumb/flash drive applications won't allow it to install as a live distro on flash drive. I only use Virtual Box so cannot comment much further I'm afraid. Did you verify the md5 sum of the .iso you downloaded? When installing to hard drive it comes up with username details, password etc UNLESS autologin is enabled - but then you should not get a login screen! ;) :D
