Install Zorin Lite On Mac

Hello good people of Zorin.
I am trying to install Zorin 9 Lite On my Mac, (Early 2008).
I have reFIT, and made space for a partition. I cannot hold down C and
Boot from disk. Nothing pops up when I insert the disk ( I burned the contents of the file folder onto it)
and go to the reFIT menu. PLEASE HELP ME! :cry:
