Installation Zorin 9 on Macbook Pro

I tried to install Zorin 9 (latest) on an external HDD disk of Macbook Pro (MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
First trial failed at UEFI boot installation process.
I noticed that people claimed that they installed successfully Linux on UEFI system when Internet is connected.
So I made Internet connection and installation went though smooth on Macbook Pro but I can't load EFI boot.
I tried several times and approached different ways but no success yet.
I made partition of EFI label and boot flag for dedicating EFI boot.
Whatever I tried, it didn't help at all.
I also followed Ubuntu UEFI mode installation but didn't work it out either.

I thought Zorin 9 naturally supported UEFI mode installation and boot. Seems it doesn't support UEFI mode perfectly.
I tried other linux distro for testing such as opensuse or Korora. No issue found with UEFI installation or boot with Macbook.
Zorin looks unique but I can't install it on Macbook unfortunately.

Any thoughts ?

Hi,

open your BIOS (or whatever it is called these days) and simply deactivate UEFI and Secure Boot, then try again!. :D

How can we enter BIOS and disable UEFI with macbook pro.
PC version is very easy to do so.
But I'm not very sure about disabling UEFI with macbook.

Hi, This guide for Ubuntu may help you (as Zorin is based on Ubuntu):

Should add that the guy behind rEFIt has abandoned the project so a fork has been developed - rEFInd:
