I have gateway laptop with 156gig hard drive, AMD 64 processor and ati video. I downloaded the 32bit just to be on safe side. So here's problem sometimes it locks up with live cd and I tried install and it hangs at the very end of almost finished message. I mean locks hard can't do anything but reboot. Any ideas please let me know I'm not at the machine right now but can give more specifics on hardware when I get home in few hours thx

Hi,

did you follow this advice when creating your Live boot media?:

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4771

Have you tried changing any of the boot options, press the "Tab" key when you see the Zorin menu and type "nomodeset" and then press "Enter" twice and see if it still cannot boot!.

Loading live cd worked Im thinking the cd rom at times quits reading for what ever the reason. I did try ever setting on the menu but no luck I was able to get Debian lxde to load on hard drive but I also had trouble on the first attempt. I'm Going to try to see if I can load from usb. When I get more time to play

Hi,

I would go for Zorin Lite which is most likely more suitable for your PC!.
