Zorin Installation in Netbook

Hello everyone,
New to Zorin. I have an asus netbook which I use in travelling. I tried Zorin using an SD card. I liked what i experienced with the "Live CD" version.

So I proceeded and installed the Core Zorin. However when zorin was installed I immediately experienced terrible lags with the mouse that I was using in the live version. Also it seems opening Chrome which I installed takes longer now that Zorin is installed. All these problems I have not encountered when I tried Zorin with out installing.

I am really disappointed with Zorin and I am thinking to restore the previous OS. What are the steps I should do to remedy the situation?

Just had a brief look on the net - open Synaptic Package Manager (Menu | System Tools | Administration | Synaptic) - you will be asked for your login password.

Search for 'Synaptics/iks' - install the package and report back to see if this cures the mouse issue. :D
