Install help

I currently have windows 7 ultimate that I got off a torrent site. I downloaded Zorin OS 9 got it on a USB drive an set the bios boot to the USB. Once I restart my computer some options pop up saying try Zorin OS 9 without installing or install Zorin OS 9. I clicked on install an it displays a Z icon on the screen an doesn't do anything else bascilly stuck at that part. I don't know what else to do please help

You should boot to live (try) and install from icon on desktop.

How you boot from live

Because what I'm try to is permanently replace torrent windows with Zorin OS an when I can get it to work I'll buy the one

try booting again; leave the highlighter on the first option of the boot menu and press the "F6" key then select "nomodeset" and press "Enter" twice and see if it boots!.

Thanks for pointing that out Swarf, my head was in another place when I posted, I have since edited my post, your solution is the correct one.

No problem Wolfman - we all have days like that - especially when it comes to my days with Win10!
