Alternative for Shockwave Flash?

Is there an alternative for Adobe/Shockwave Flash for Linux? I'd like to get rid of it all together and use something else.

I've been looking around on the net, but haven't found anything yet.

You have to uninstall Adobe Flash or Linterna Magica won;t work - I will let you try that and report back here! :D

This will take a while I think. #1, I usually get headaches if I read too long (Bell's palsey and eye strain), and #2, I tend to screw things up when I try new stuff in Zorin.
