(SOLVED) wireless driver asus ac68

I am a novice and installed Zorin Os 9 Ultimate 64 bit on my desktop pc. I did the updates via an powerline adapter.
Everything is going well, except for the wireless connection. The device is an Asus PCE-AC68.
In the Package Manager, I apply the broadcom package.
In the Wireless Network Drivers is no driver visible.
What steps should I follow to achieve a result?

Try this.
Plug an ethernet cable to get internet, open terminal and run the following 3 commands:

sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo modprobe -r wl
sudo modprobe wl

Wait 5-6 seconds and check if your wireless is now working.

I still do not have a wireless connection.

Please post back again the results of all the following commands.

Have you issued the following three commands separately, the one after the other? If not, you need to do so. Let me know if you get any errors. Don't forget to plug in the ethernet cable so as to have internet connection before issuing the commands.

Apologies, I cannot advise any books. The things I know on Linux come from my personal experience, a lot of hours in reading topics in forums, trials, fromats and re-installations etc etc.

I am sure there are plenty of books about Linux, but I never read any of them so as to recommend it to you.
