Onedrive-D by XYBU not supporting Zorin

Hi all,

Just a quick question seeing I am trying to transition from Windows 10 to Linux (Zorin) and it has been an interesting journey so far for a newbie like me. I managed to work with Skilion OneDrive ... OK.. but it kept throwing some errors out after it has been synced and it doesnt want to sync local files which I manually created for testing. and now I came across another solution which is called OneDrive-D-OLD but apparently it works better than the one by Skilion.

Now, when I git clone the file and installed it into onedrive-d-old and about to install it following the link using ./install.sh and it gave me an error says that setup script does not support your distro token zorin. (please see screen shot) I saw someone else post something similar called Crimson (probably also another distro?) Is anyone here experience this before and have possible solution walk around it? This is the link and I followed the Onedrive by Skilion and it works relatively well. http://linuxblog.darkduck.com/2016/10/2 ... e.html?m=1.

Thanks.

Hi all,

I found the solution. Just edit your install.sh and add under distro and zorin as an additional OS

Were you trying to use a program to place the Zorin ISO installer onto a USB flash drive? If so, I would recommend that you use Etcher, as I did and it worked out perfectly. I am hoping that the program your using will work out for you, but just incase it does not, here is the link to Etcher as recommend by the Zorin dev's themsevles.

Hi star treker, you are lucky. My Windows 7 32-bit pro just baulked at it - and had issues with AV as well as the System Protection of 7. :(

I much prefer MultiSystem - every time.

Etcher worked with a Linux distro, its possible it don't work with Microsoft distros due to security built into OS installer. I put Windows 7 on my USB drive years ago using Microsoft's USB installer too. Of course its been replaced by Zorin OS now lol

Hi,

I am begineer , will you help me to provide the script required to add in install.sh, as I am getting the same error , when I try to run the install.sh script
Error: "setup script does not support your distro token zorin"
Also let me know, where to add this script.
Thanks in advance.
