ZorinOS12: cannot update to latest version, as boot....

Dear all,

I have just tried to update my ZorinOS12, but failed to do so, as the update program said the boot partition does not have enough space to do the updates
-> Does anyone meet this problem?

GParted shows that the boot partition have only 22MB left, see attached screen capture
boot_partition_only_22MB_remained_2017.0317.png

-> so do I need to adjust the boot partition to make more room for it?
-> If this is the case, how big should it be?
(my current boot partition size is 250MB)

Thanks for any kind of help!

Hi, I don't ever use a /boot partition unless of tricky hardware issues and usually make it 512 Mb. You will only be able to resize if you allowed LVM checked during original install - if not you can only shrink partitions not expand them. Also btrfs is not recognised widely as a stable file system - you should really stick to ext4 fs. ;) :D
