(CLOSED) How to mirror my Kodi 17

How to mirror my Kodi 17 installation, running on my Zorin 12 Ultimate laptop, with my Smart TV?

I specifically chose an Intel i5 CPU so it had WIDI and mirroring capability, or some such - My 2016 Panasonic TV supports mirroring. How can I get them to talk to each other over my WiFi system?

Alternatively, can I use my Roku 1 box running RARplex or my Apple TV box 2 as an intermediary?

Has anyone got this working?

Thanks, Swarf - unfortunately, the link would not open to anything sensible - I think it was referring to miraclecast.

In the meantime, I have found:

- which looks simple and is current.

I will post again, if I find it works

It turns out that the link was a blind alley - onwards and upwards!

So, I guess the answer is to use an HDMI cable to the TV.

Also to change the pulse audio volume control:

From "analogue stereo duplex"

to "digital stereo (HDMI) output + analogue stereo input"
