[SOLVED] Start Menu in Windows 7 mode

My start menu is not display correctly. Part of the menu is display in the taskbar. How can I fix this so the menu displays above the taskbar?

If you login-logout or restart, do you get the same problem?

It may be your GPU. What is your GPU?

Yes, I get the same result when I login-logout; the menu is still displaying on the task bar.

My GPU info:

lspci | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT215 [GeForce GT 240] (rev a2)

If you right click on the panel and select Dock Preferences is the Behavior set to Panel Mode?
I had the same problem last week.

Thank you for your help! My menu is behaving now (showing above the task bar).
