I have done some testing regarding creation of Zorin OS 12.iso Bootable USB sticks, thought I would share my results thus far as this seems to be a common problem.
The Zorin team recommend Etcher and I have used it and find it simple and effective, however...
Below is a list containing the: Program/Utility used (example; Etcher Unetbootin etc), Host operating system (what OS was used to make USB Win7/10 Linux Mint 18 etc), any other comments 32 bit 64 bit core ultimate etc

(These are OS 12 Ultimate 64 bit with correct check sum, found here https://zorinos.com/help/install-zorin- ... r-download).
Unetbootin on Zorin OS 9 (including 'persistence mode' I made theme changes and rebooted and changes 'persisted')
Disks (Gnome Disks Utility) on Zorin OS 9 Tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygOZfxrSn-Q
Rufus on Win 10
USB Image Writer on Linux Mint 18
Etcher on Linux Mint 18, Zorin OS 9 and OS 12 (Tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6F2HoT ... e=youtu.be)
Using a mix of normal/UEFI mode, different USB 2 and USB 3 drives.

Unetbootin on Zorin OS 12 (created Bootable OS 12 Core 64bit USB stick, Tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qg1e4cE ... e=youtu.be )

Some tutorials:
Etcher working, Unetbootin/MultiSystem fails https://youtu.be/7AUCJlZVg80

I have not been able to create one using MultiSystem on OS 9 thus far in either 32 or 64 bit.
I have also installed MultiSystem on OS 12 Ultimate (Had to install 'xterm' as got errors before hand) but it wouldn't recognize/see my USB drives! Swarfendor437???
I installed Unetbootin on OS 12 Ultimate from Synaptic but it failed to run (2 different PC's)

Feel free to add your own findings and any other info that might be useful.
Disclaimer, all care no responsibility. I am no expert. Use at own risk. Some info maybe a little old, I am also.
When creating USB Boot Drives be SURE that you have selected the correct drive as usually the entire drive contents are WIPED OUT!!!
If you notice any faults or find it to hard to follow let me know and I will attempt to make it clearer for you.
