Hi all,

I snagged this link from the PinguyOS forum website (Thanks to vanlong441 who is also a member of this forum :D ) and it contains an amazing amount of tips and tricks for Ubuntu based systems, it really is worth checking out:

https://debianhelp.wordpress.com/?s=to+ ... installing

Another couple of links:

http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Precise for Zorin OS 6.

http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Trusty for Zorin OS 9.

(Edit: thanks to forum user "insanidee" for bringing the new links to my attention!. :D )

Thank you for this. Following some of the suggestions helped stop my sudden and unexpected OS 6 crashes. After updating my ATI/AMD video driver, the crashes stopped and my machine is running much, much cooler.

I believe the first link on the first post was moved. Here is where I found it: http://debianhelp.wordpress.com/2012/11 ... -pangolin/

Other to-do lists (its parent link) is here: http://debianhelp.wordpress.com/?s=to+d ... installing

I stumbled across a long list of Ubuntu (precise) official and unofficial and 3rd party binary repositories that may be handy here: http://pastebin.com/ABekZ2yX
