Battery misjudgement on zorin

With fully charged battery (laptop Lenovo n100) zorin says 'critical low battery' and hibernates. When I restart laptop the battery comes on life and starts discharging normally 2hrs. Any solution out there?

How old is the battery?. If you leave them in and use the mains power supply, they lose their power retention quite quickly.

Discharge the battery fully and then recharge it!!
