Hi,
This is simplyfeedback to you. I have tried this evening sveral times to install Zorin 12.1 Lite Beta to a Dell B110 DE051 pc which currently has many linux systems installed including Zorin 09 os lite. It has tested Zorin 12 core as well as Zorin 11 lite without any alarming problems. I simply prefer the way Zorin 9 Lite os runs on this unit.
The operating system will run live but stalls during the disc preparation process. In other words after I have chosen the proper perimeters (ext4, partition location, to format and boot drive for grub) and chosen to proceed with the install, I can wait forever. I see the clock showing that the processing should start, but from all angles that I can see, nothing physical is taking place, and the installation goes no further.
So I have successfuly booted your system live on my netbook as well as my Dell B110 pc, but attempting to install it on the Dell B110 pc is not possible.
My pc has more than 1.5 gygs of physical memory and internal as well as external ide drives.
Current successful installs include RoboLinux 12 Mate; Zorin 9 lite, Peppermint 8, Linux Mint, LXLE 14, SparkyLinux, Chromixium, to give you a general idea that my pc does very well with most versions of Linux.
Each of these systems are very much at home on my Dell PC.
I'm not expecting a solution here, just submitting my own feedback.
