uninstall zorin

going to uninstall zorin 9 . tried and tried to get my printer to work . loved everything but that.shouldn't be that difficult . everyone prints

Before you uninstall, is your printer attached directly to your machine? Make and model of printer would help - perhaps we can get you sorted?

I always find that this is the best way to install a printer if you have issues using the graphical interface:

1. Open a Terminal (Ctrl+ Alt+ T or Menu | Accessories | Terminal)

2. Enter the following command:

sudo sytem-config-printer


If the driver is present in Zorin it should work - also bear in mind that most OS's are aimed at the US - and that includes 'Letter' settings for printers - you need to change it to A4 before you attempt to print!

If the printer driver is not present, tell us what make and model it is and we will direct you where to get it. :D

Halfway home , prints in black only. I have a canon pixma mg2500 usb connected

Well I guess I'll keep zorin 9 . really like it . Still cant print in color. Guess I'll take my pic's to Walmart until it's time for a new printer , Thank you all for your help.

Hi, Glad you are keeping it - have you tried other settings with in the driver? e.g., RGB, CMYK?
