i didnt do much of that. I havent been able to get it to download more bibles/materials etc

I dont use e-sword much anymore though as i use esvbible.org a lot more but still used occasionally

by the way @swarfendor437 said he'd make the thread sticky :D so i'm waiting for that :)

i'll tell you how I upload mine without the stupid size limit:

1. make an account in servimg.com
2. upload image and get the direct link
3.
striptext.png
used screenshot to replace text so it doesnt run cmd
striptext.png (4.47 KiB)


replace the link there with your link.

Another thing you could do is give us an imgur/snag.gy link

I dont know if imgur links are permanent but you could try replacing link with an imgur.com one. You can probably go on settings and make them permanent if you upload, i am not sure cuz i always use snag.gy and that isn't permanent

To post a wallpaper and save time of changing .png that 'Screenshot' produces to .jpg install 'shutter' and make the filetype of save as .jpg - hopefully this should resolve your size issues, e.g., see ones of 9 I uploaded here:

only thing I dont like about shutter is that you are unable to take timed screenshots like if you want to activate a tooltip AND get the entire screen with it. That's why i stick with GNOME-screenshot. Also the way it updates plugins every time it starts is very annoying. But some of its features are good and I use them occasionally.

When I had mac i had lightshot which was nice, i wish they'd make it for linux!
