Been having lots of problems with Firefox on and off for the last few months, so had a look around and have started using Vivaldi.
So far so good, but was wondering if anyone else had tried it or had any other pointers?

Not had any issues with Firefox other than Flash not updating - had to remove the installed Flash player that came with Zorin - just would not except update to be downloaded (Zorin 11). Had to uninstall Firefox add-on, started add-ons searched for Flash and installed latest add-on update released in June. ;) :D

To be honest didn't investigate too much, thought it was an opportunity to see what else was out there, thus Vivaldi...

I use mostly Slimjet besides Firefox.

Slimjet is based on Google Chrome without too much phone-back to Google.

It's always a good idea to have at least one second browser to compare if the primary fails or a site isn't displayed correctly.
Another alternative you may want to check is Opera.

Second vote for Opera but only 12.16 - newer versions don't allow you to change the default search engines or remove the ones it comes with - only downside is 12.16 is quite old and not all current sites compatible. ;)
