i would like to have the window when you boot up (that is the window that shows some choices on how to boot up) disabled (not to show) when booting up. Also is there a way to just show "suspend" when you go to shut down the computer?

Thanks,

I think to remove the boot up screen you would have to attempt autologin but there can be issues with that as you need a login password to apply updates! As for the suspend issue I don't have a notebook (proper term for Laptop) to refer to. ;) :D
