I've recently installed Zorin, not from a disk I created myself but from one I bought directly from Zorin.
I had great difficulty installing, it's not very intuitive, but while in the live mode I noticed the big icon on the desktop saying install Zorin. Oh dear, how could I be so stupid. After that it was plain sailing, the Dell happily chuntering, whizzing and flashing it's lights during installation process.
After that it was plain sailing, I'm the only computer user so I disabled user login password.
I've been playing around with various Linux Distros since 2007, that was when I bought a Dell laptop with Ubuntu installed. It was a very big learning curve, I'd get so frustrated that the blasted thing got packed away for a while. Previous installation to Zorin was #crunchbang, the UI was a little too simplistic for my tastes
So far it looks like I'll be sticking with Zorin.
