Yesterday, I have installed an old ZorinOS that I found on one of my many DVD's and updated it. What a pleasurable experience! I wish to pay tribute to the Zorin developers for your excelent work and polished, presentable product. This is a sure way to show mac & Windows users that Linux is NOT an amateur OS and neither does it require a degree in computer science to use it.
Kuod's!
My system reports my Zorin as follows:
root@acer-eMachines-E625:/home/acer# cat /proc/version
Linux version 3.8.0-35-generic (buildd@allspice) (gcc version 4.7.3 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.7.3-1ubuntu1) ) #50-Ubuntu SMP Tue Dec 3 01:25:33 UTC 2013
