Yes with a few things brought up close to the end of May, there's still a couple of things that are being / have been worked out. Don't worry! Hold on just a little longer! :P

I have all of my deb packages backed up in anticipation of ZorinOS5. It would be nice to be able to upgrade without having to wipe my drive and reinstall the operating system...

I was wondering if there is a way to backup all of my settings (compiz, nautilus, panels, etc.) so that I can easily apply them after installation? It took me quite some time to set-up everything the way I want it so any advice would be appreciated.

It's good, very good. I have only found one possible fault on Zorin 5 Ultimate: I changed the view to Gnome from Mac and all I got was a blue desktop - no panel top or bottom of screen, just blue. Couldn't do a thing with it so after much thought I put the dvd in and re-loaded. That was a little annoying because I had put all my pics, vids and docs onboard.

So, I have it running perfectly well now, but dare not try to change to the Gnome setting, although I could do my own adjustments if wanted. Having said all that, Zorin 5 Ultimate is very good, the only addition I made was to add the software so I can play my Laurel & Hardy vids and any other dvd.

Purists would say that Zorin is for noobies, for those who can't understand how to play around with Linux. Well, I am not a noobie and can do quite a lot with Linux in general, but it is so good to be able to have someone far more experienced than myself to do all the additions for me. Yeah, I am a Lazy-Linux-Loon, and I bet there are many others out there too.

Thanks Zorin crew, you have done a grand job... no more Windows - except the double glazed sort where I am seeing a young lady walk by, those high heels make me laugh!
