We have released versions of the Zorin OS .iso files for use in countries where software patents are recognized.
The -a versions of the Zorin OS .iso files are the versions without the codecs (and other software which may infringe on various software patents) preinstalled. They are accessible by clicking the link in the Disclaimer at the bottom of the download page for the Free editions and are given to Premium customers in the applicable countries.
