I have enabled my Firewall so am I safe to access my on line banking ?, (I know that any system is not %100 safe but %99 is OK with me

Hi,

I would say yes but then I don't do Online Banking. I would have a chat with your bank (get it in writing!) as to how they see their services running under Linux as I don't really know!.

I seem to remember there was a 'Virus'/''Malware' issued that affected GNU/Linux awhile back - I much prefer telephone banking!

[ Most Costly Mistake ]
The mistake that cost online banking customers.
Mis-Typing the [ bank ] URL...ending up in a malicious site to be made to look like the said bank.
Using [ Landline ] authinication helps even more with online banking.

The word from my Bank is Linux is fine to use in on line banking
