Hi, I have discovered because it is E2E that it is sometimes being used for improper behaviour - so when you do, make sure you set your room up with a password. All you need is (fingers down throat) Chrome or Chromium for it to work correctly and there is no limit to number of users.
Just go to this web address:
https://meet.jit.si/You then add your meeting name after the last slash or rather put that in the 'try it now' box, and it will add whatever you call it after the last forward slash. You then click on the circle in the middle of the three icons on the right and select add password:
First port of call:
Add the password so only people with the password can access the room - you wouldn't want nefarious gate crashers would you?:
You can also get the app for jitsi meet on Android, F-Droid and App Store.
The third icon on the left side of the screen is where you launch the 'chat window' and identify yourself first then that shows up on the right. Sharing desktop crashes the browser! Sometimes there can be two of you on relaunch of the saved address! But you can kick your own imposter out of the room.
You mentioned google zoom - by that do you mean two separate entities? Google Duo and Zoom? Don't touch Zoom with a barge pole!
