(CLOSED) WordPress Themes?

Hello ( again )

I know I could probably go elsewhere to ask, but I like the friendly and (most times) helpful support I have gotten from here since I joined. So, I figured it couldn't hurt to post a request of this nature here as well.

1. This is the theme / template I would love to use. ( http://sodacoca.com/Burorama/ ) It looks pretty interesting and I love the photo changer at the top.
However, after activating and installing said theme, I can not find nor figure out how to set that up.

Would be grateful to anyone willing to take a few moments of their free time to possibly connect with me and see if we can't somehow tackle it. If not, I do have another theme in mind, but also could use some assistance there too.

What You Can Use WordPress For
WordPress started as just a blogging system, but has evolved to be used as full content management system and so much more through the thousands of plugins, widgets, and themes, WordPress is limited only by your imagination. (And tech chops.)

It seems it can be used for quite a few varied applications. Mostly though, it seems to be focused on blogging and photo journals.

On that note, still could use some help figuring out the theme I setup. *lol*

Do you have ubuntu tweak installed? http://ubuntu-tweak.com/
You should open ubuntu tweak and go to tweaks > theme and select the theme from there.

Hi,

if you want other themes, here is a good place to look, make sure you only use the GTK3 themes for Zorin 6 Core Final.

I can tell I obviously either didn't explain myself too clearly or nobody has heard of WordPress.

@madvinegar - I do have tweak installed, but Ubuntu / Zorin OS and Wordpress are two completely different things. I posted a link earlier regarding what WordPress was.

@Wolfman - Thank you, but again - Wordpress has nothing to do with Zorin. Though I wouldn't mind a new theme for my desktop, I am more interested in getting this one : http://sodacoca.com/burorama-free-wordpress-themes.html to look correctly after I have installed / activated it on my hosting account.

We are getting closer.

Let me start over.

I have a WordPress blog site setup. I picked this theme / template to use ( http://sodacoca.com/Burorama/
As you can see, it has some interesting features ( Mainly the rotating image among other things )

This is my site : http://piratemouse.byte4byte.com/
As you can see, it looks nothing like the Demo.
When I logged into the admin panel, and looked at the options given to me - I can not seem to find where to edit / add the pictures in to that sets that feature up.
The only thing I seem to be able to edit is the advertisement.

I did e-mail the theme creator but have yet to hear back, hence the reason why I am asking on different sites for some help in figuring it all out.

you started off saying you wanted to use the theme from this website but you didn't actually explain in the first instance what you meant!!.

That made me wonder - and I asked around ( including the WordPress support site ) and I think its due to the fact that the theme I want to use ( even though it seems to be a new make / design ) is based off a very old Wordpress version and doesn't seem compatible with the new version and the theme creator is not responding.

I was told ( by many ) to look through the site to find a new one. But if you see what IS compatible compared to this one - its not much of a comparison and makes it a bit difficult to want to continue on the project when the template / theme isn't what you wanted it to be.
