Secure Boot
Microsoft designed Secure Boot to protect the computer from low-level exploits and rootkits and bootloaders.http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2411464,00.aspFrom a business point of view - what a brilliant
roundabout way to get rid of the competitors and make more money. Nice..
BUT From a personal point of view - What the!! Is linux really getting to them and will I be able to buy an alternative laptop/PC with out secure boot and dare I say a linux secure boot
. PS: I self built all my desktops but laptops are a little bit more difficult but can be done via ebay (can I say that - if not then - online auction sites) and the local recycle centre.
.
What next for Windows 9 - If I try to put linux on the machine will I be taser stunned or will itself destruct it self?
