I am using Zorin from a bootable USB flash drive. Is there a way to flash the computer BIOS from the USB drive?

No, I wouldn't think so.
How are you planning to flash your BIOS? Is there a setting in your BIOS settings that enables you to do so, or you are going to do it through windows?
