Installing Windows 8 further on the drive!

I have a machine with 3 hard drives in it:
sda - 160 Gb drive with Pear 7
sdb - 200 Gb drive with 2 Win 7 installs
sdd (was sdc!) - 400 Gb drive with 120 Gb Zorin 6 Ultimate, 115 Gb Pear 8, 350 Mb System for Win8, 40 Gb Win 8 (C:\) the rest is unallocated.

1. Disconnect all drives apart from the one you want Win8 on.

2. Boot the Win 8.1 Preview disc and enter the code supplied.

3. Use advanced partitioning - NEVER choose all of the space - go for 40 Gb as an example but leave some unallocated space and it will create a 350 Mb system partition:

What amazes me is that Win 8.1 has 'stolen' a lot of Gnome3 ideas in terms of its 'shell'!
