problem there is the limted number of people using it, I have bent over backwards to get my friends and family to use Skype and I ain't changing now!. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I totally agree with you. The reason jitsi does not support skype, is because the protocol of Skype is closed source!

I really wish all of my friends/coleagues would migrate to Jitsi!

I wanted to install Jitsi but couldn't...
I tried downloading jitsi_2.10.5550-1_amd64.deb but the system reject it because of dependencies.
How can I solve it? Skype is a good program but I cannot record calls anymore. Skype call recorder is not working with the new version.
Could you help me?

I could install jitsi but somehow could not get it to connect. Try Ekiga - registration is free but you need to setup port-forwarding for it to work on your router:
