Hi,

fans of Snowbird will be pleased to know that there is a replacement in the form of Nightingale, just add the PPA and reload and search for the package then install it:

Code:
ppa:nightingaleteam/nightingale-release

See how to add a PPA if you don't know how to do it:

As long as we're asking opinions-how does it stack up to the Audacious player in Zorin 7 Lite? Not that Audacious hasn't met my every musical need thus far, but I AM curious... :geek:

Hi chaps,

I think it is better than both Clementine and Audaciuos as it has a nice interface and web connection where it loads info about the songs/singers/bands, it also shows the lyrics should they be found!.

Just downloaded Nightingale for Windows (on 8.1 preview) and I don't think it's web links are as extensive as clementine - I also like the fact that Clementine has the best visualiser - MProject - beats Media Player hands down:

My other favourite player for lyrics is Amarok
