Just thought I would share a solution to those who may be dual booting like me:
Windows 7 Update Error, Error Code 8024DFFE and Comodo solution:
"At that point, you may have to place your HIPS on Training Mode (or simply add C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\SelfUpdate\Handler \WuSetupV.exe to the exception list.)"
There is reference to an article that is no longer available as a different forum has since shut down!
Just in case you are pulling your hair out - it worked for me!
