I advised my oldest brother recently about using cloud services, I hope he gets to t read this too!.

I personally will never ever not in any lifetime use any cloud services, they are open to abuse/attack from all sorts of weirdo's out there!.

Always backup your data to an external USB device and also on another safe partition. (Create at tleast two backups in case one goes "Doolally".

if the Company I work for say use it, then I don't have a problem; because it is their problem when things go wrong!.

That is one of the reasons I left a certain Credit Card Company in the UK having been a customer for ... (since I was a teenager) due to rigging and potentially fraudulent staff in Customer Services!

Well it actually doesn't work like that in all circumstances. For example, when I worked in a different job, many years ago in Accounts, the Finance Manager would not allow a certain Credit Card for payment unless the holder agreed to pay the 4% that the business would be charged for allowing that Card to be used! Interest on my current account is better than the retailers - and only ever had charges applied if I had a memory lapse but 99.9% of the time bills are always paid off - not a good customer for the Credit Card people!

Also my mother-in-law asked a big brand shop if they were prepared to do a discount for cash - they would only accept Credit Card/ Debit Card!

There is a mess with the unreliable news what Nokia is going to do with its phone business. Only few days ago there was some very reliable looking news that it will come back to phone business and use Android os. It also had that N1 Android tablet on the Nokia's internet page and presented it on Nokia's stand in China. Nokia has huge amount of phone related patents and wants to get income of those. People want also to buy preferably Nokia instead of Microsoft branded devices. So, never know whether this was the "final news" related to that business. My best guess is that if Microsoft fails with phones, there will finally come a Chinese or Taiwanese "Nokia" phone and Nokia sells or licences all ip. rights to that manufacturer.

Talking of Android, I tried out the OS recently, I would not recommend it to a serious Linux user as it sucks imo!. I would rather sit naked in a public place using Windows 8 to be quite honest!.

Lack of Home-Button is not a mistake, Jolla phone and Sailfish os.' user interface has been on purpose made differently so that it is easy to hold and navigate just using one hand (without any buttons). That is not so valid feature with tablets, due to bigger size, you have to use there both hands (if you hold it with one hand).

I admit that Marc Dillon had his personal reason to develop a better navigation solution than just copying Android- Windows- and iPhone's Back- and Home-Buttons to Sailfish. That is just the positive thing how designs evolves.

I remember going to that site and not finding what I needed to download. Way too many other downloads that I didn't want or need. So I quit going there all together.
