Search for best way to make german persistent live usb stick

i really like the new Zorin 11 core system. I want to make a 4gb german live usb stick (persistent). My first idea was to make a live stick with the Universal USB Installer aka UUI. I used the Zorin 11 core iso and make a live usb with a 1024 persistent file. I boot the liveusb in pesitent mode and add german language pack. But then all updates are done i only have 3mb free space. So can anyone tell me a bette strategy to make a german persistent live stick?

I would aim for a minimum of 8 Gb stick if you can as Zorin usually requires 6 Gb of hard drive space to function correctly!
