installing Zorin os 9

Good morning
I am having trouble download os 9 core to the computer
I have tried 4 times 3 on dvd and 1 on usb
each with a different download of the iso
used ISO2Disc and ISO to USB
in all cases no splash screen
The computer is an IBM G40 with 1gb of ram
also there in no operating system on the unit as I
want this to be only Linux computer

I think you will be struggling to get Core running with 1 Gb RAM - you don't give any information as to type of processor, graphics or size of hard drive.
