How to install Nvidia drivers?

Hello, I can't to install nVidia drivers. I kill a X server, and with "sudo sh ~/Desktop/drivers.run" (file name: drivers.run, this is official nVidia drivers, but just renamed) command I try to install drivers, but I have a error. I need to disable "Nouveau kernel" driver. How I can disable this? Google don't help with this issue.

open Control Center > Hardware > Additional Drivers, then download and restart, they will install automatically!.

As far as I know, they will only be shown in use when you have a graphics related prog running!!. (If that makes sense!!)

Hmm.. I have a Intel i5-243 CPU with integrated graphics and have GT 540M non integrated VGA. So, if computer don't have a graphics recoureses, uses integrated Intel HD 3000 VGA, if computer working with graphics (gaming and ect), using GT 540M 1GB VGA. So, automaticly find only nVidia drivers. I need install HD 3000 drivers. Drivers installing same as nVidia drivers? yea? So, I still need disable "Nouveau kernel".

Compiz needs the Nvidia drivers (in your case) to be installed for 3D effects!!.

I am not an expert with it so please start with the link and go on from there!!.

I don't know why, but effects still not working. I read all guide and do, but nothing. Any ideas?

did you install the Compiz configuration settings manager

Open Synaptic and type compiz and search for the package in the list (compizconfig-settings-manager) and install it!!.

Then you can look at the compiz settings in the control center and configure it as you wish!!.

And started a compiz: Hold Alt + F2, and written "compiz --replace". Screen only a flashed about a half second and still nothing, no effects.
