Can anyone tell me (in words of one syllable) how to install EMC2 on Zorin 5 Lite.

Many thanks but that looks like the config files for specific machine tools after EMC2 is installed and working. Elsewhere Cooltool do a live CD consisting of EMC2 on an old version of Puppy. The only other ISO I can find is EMC2 on Ubuntu 10.04. Unfortunately 10.04 does much like some older hardware and defaults to 800 x 600 screen res. Both Puppy and Zorin seem to be better in that respect. Puppy allows the installer to choose a resolution and try it to see if it works. Zorin Lite seem to be happy to give me 1024 x 768 on that same older hardware.
I'm trying to set up a small CNC mill run by a dedicated PC but now seem to be at the boundary of my knowledge. The last thing I want to have to do in desperation is buy more modern H/W for what is really quite an un-demanding task.
