I am very new to linux and would appreciate any guidance.
Same problem on both Dell Inspiron E1405 and Inspiron B130
bcmwl5 driver from Dell seems to be installed and hardware detected but no wifi connections shown.

Thanks for the rapid response. I already followed directions at
https://zorinos.com/help/set-up-wireless-hardware/ and that's where I was before posting. Looks like the driver is installed but no networks visable after reboot. Will take a look at the other links.

sudo apt-get remove --purge bcmwl-kernel-source
sudo apt-get install b43-fwcutter
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer
sudo modprobe -r b43
sudo modprobe b43
From the 6706 viewtopic worked for me! The E1405 is up on wifi and the OS is working like its a new machine. Thank you for your assistance. I'm sure that the same solution will apply on the B130, however it has bigger problems with core temp overages. I think i need to open that one up and check the heat sink first.
