Upgrading to 5.2

I am currently using Zorin 4, and have installed a number of programs and customised them with add-ons, etc. I want to know if I do an install with 5.2 will I have to reinstall those programs and settings?

hi,

you will have to install the Os completely but you don't have to format your home partition, you will have to re-install all your programs!.
