[CLOSED] OS Lite System Requirements

CPU 700 MHz Single Core - 64-bit or 32-bit

I'm trying to install it on an old laptop Gateway 4026GZ w/ Intel Pentium Mobile 1700MHz 32bit single core.

I get a message about PAE not being available and to force it manually but how?

If PAE is a basic requirement, it should be listed because AFAIK most old single core CPUs don't have PAE instructions.
I believe mine has them so I'm in the process of identifying it with the Intel utility, will post results soon... .

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

This wiki shows you how with the forcepae command - but be warned, it may run like a three legged dog. Alternative OS's that have non-PAE isos are AntiX 17 and community stable editions of SolydX.

Unfortunately, the PS and perhaps the laptop itself both died during testing and I didn't even get to identify the CPU...
