Hello I've been trying to install zorin for a couple of hours right before the map pops up I get the error swap space in partition #5 of SCSI1 (0,0,0) (sda) failed and then my installation screen freezes and I'm forced to reboot uninstalling on a blank 340 gig Toshiba hard drive I have followed all the installation procedures on creating 3 different partitions,... /ROOT , /home and swap space I also tried boot/ home, /root, /var, and swap space. And each time after every cry I get the same error code getting ready to move on to a different Linux distro if this doesn't work. please advise

Thanks

Before going any further download this tool to check your hard drive for errors:

I have been playing around with a now defunct distro on a very old notebook, Xandros Open Desktop 4. It needed me to delete all contents on the drive and start again. It could have been a dodgy sector, I'm not sure. My only other advice is that I would make '/' 50 Gb following issues of running out of space on a different OS I have in my machine on a different drive.

;) :D
