Hi to all,

i'll try to install Zorin OS over my laptop (Lenovo Z580) with UEFI enable (secure boot disabled).
Over that laptop i've 2 hard disk, 1st a SSD 128Gb and 2nd a magnetic with 500Gb.
I'd like to install Zorin with /home over 2nd hard disk.
I've alredy partition my hdd with fdisk via gparted with live iso :

After installation, when i try to boot the OS grub can't load the configuration and stay pending with grub>

Same configuration with Ubuntu 19.04 or Manjaro work fine after installation.
How I can solve that issue ?

Thanks for your support and sorry for my bad english :D !

Bonjourno! Hi, first off I don't know why you are using xfs. Also you don't need linux swap if installing to SSD. Your EFI partition is way too big - it should only be 50Mb in size, certainly no more than 100 Mb. Next I would have '/' as 50 Gb and whatever is left as '/home'. EFI formatted to FAT32, all other partitions should be Ext2 FS - Ext3 and Ext4 are journaling file systems which would shorten the life of your SSD. You also should use rEFInd when setting up on SSD:

and also set up TRIM:

Hope this helps! ;) :D

Bonjourno!
