[SOLVED] "No Root File System" Error

I'm trying to install Zorin 5.2 on a partition on Windows 7 but it always comes up with "No root file system". How can I fix this or alter my partitions so that it works??
Also, is it possible to install to an external hard drive or VHD??

Thanks! I've now successfully installed it to my external HDD (I haven't booted from it yet but I'll fix it soon).

I've now got it booting straight off my external HDD! Its awesome
