Hi,

I'm new to these forums so go easy on me. I tried to search your site for my question but it pulled up nothing in reference to my curiosity. I want to know what driver support is like for the latest gaming hardware and can I get any or all of my latest games to work on Zorin?

Here's my current specs:

ASUS Crosshair V mobo
AMD 975 Quad OC 4.1Ghz
8G ddr3 ram
2x 60G OCZ SSD raid boot drives
1.5tb backup drive
XFX 6950 x3 crossfire video cards
Antec 1200 watt psu

I also want to migrate to Zorin for my media center system which has similar specs but a single 5550 video card.

Lastly, I have a server that I am about to put together but it was going to be running windows home server 2011 and I would like to get some advice on what to use for a server and how to set up my server to share and stream dvd and blu ray files.

I'm at a point where I can go either way so nows the time to learn my options before I get too deep with windows based solutions.

Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated!

Rodney

Hi,

take a look at both these links:

http://www.playonlinux.com/en/

and:

http://www.winehq.org/

As long as your hardware is not too exotic, it should be supported, there are problems with some Wifi cards but that is really about it.
