Dual Boot Install Fails

The install went OK. When re-boot post install system goes straight into XP i.e. no choice to boot into Zorin.
System is XP Pro with 2 HDD. 1st hdd = C, 2nd HDD = E: My Documents. Zorin installed on D in 1st partition before My Docs.
Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

firstly, your partition layout should look something like this. (see first pic):

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2601

Assuming you partitioned correctly, you can download and use "Boot repair" to fix GRUB:

viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1895

An alternative is to boot the live CD and then open a terminal and type:

sudo update-grub

This may also fix your problem, check your partition layout before you do anything in the live CD using Gparted.
