Hi,

did you burn the disk at the slowest possible speed??, what are your PC's specs??, did you try safe graphics mode (2nd option in menu) when starting the Live CD??.

Hi,

have you tried safe graphics mode in the meantime?.

If that fails, try "nomodeset":

* At install screen press F6 and select nomodeset and install Ubuntu as usual.
* On first boot after install, press e on getting the GRUB bootloader.
* Using arrow keys navigate to and delete quiet and splash and type the word nomodeset in their place
* Press Ctrl and X to boot
* You should now be able to login to your Ubuntu as usual

Hi,

if your Zorin drive is going to be attached all the time then please download and use "Boot Repair":

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Boot-Repair

It is important to install the boot manager (GRUB) to "MBR" which is your normal HDD.
