Am a Linux newbie, just installed Zorin 6.1 Lite on an older laptop, was able to download some pictures from an older Fuji camera, they ended up in file manager, used image viewer to rotate & save, saw the corrected images but when I tried to email them, the original pics unrotated were sent. Can anyone help? thanks.

I think you need a photo-editing program for this kind of work.
Try Gimp. It is like photoshop.
- Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:otto-kesselgulasch/gimp
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install gimp

Hi,
always first make a copy of the original and then work on the copy and "Save As" whatever, that way you don't risk losing the originals and the copies should be as you saved them!!.

Thanks I found it, downloaded & seems to be working (unlike with Puppy on my desktop).
