Quick 32 bit Install question

Hello all,
I have a friend I am giving a computer. It has a 20GB Harddrive. (Teenie tiny, I know) Anyway, I have referred him to Youtube to decide on Zorin 6 or Mint 13. When he decides, which do you recommend I should install? Core or Lite? (If Zorin, Mint has Mate and LXDE, I think.) What are the main differences between the two? Also, I know about the ubiquity slideshow hangup on the install of 32 bit Mint 13 distros. Does Zorin 32 bit suffer the same ailment? Thanks! :D

Hi,

I would go with Z6 Lite or Xubuntu not mint!!. (I have tried Mint in the past and had often little problems with one thing or another, this is not to say that Mint is a bad OS!)

He would also need to be very careful as to what he installs as he wouldn't have much space for errors!!.

The slideshow should be okay in Z6 and Xubuntu afaik!!.

Regards Wolfman :D
