Hi and welcome,

we need a few more details about your PC please.

Did you burn the disk at the slowest possible speed, if you didn't you will get read write errors and you should reburn the disk!!.

Do you have an Nvidia graphics card?, have you tried booting the live CD in safe mode!!?.

Hi,

depnding on the disk burning app you are using, it will (somewhere) give you the option as to which speed you should burn at, it might say "Burn at X16" or "Max", there is a drop down menu somewhere in the burning app, you need to verify that the speed is set to the lowest possible like X2 or X4.

Will that make the message go away ? It's the same message every time ( not enough memory to load specified image )

Hi,

I cannot gaurantee that the message will go away but if you did burn it too fast, you should burn the ISO again at the slowest possible speed!!.

How did you burn the disk, were you using Windows and if so; what burn app.

Is your message something like this:

Hi,

you still didn't answer my question, what speed did you use to burn the disk, was it the slowest possible that was available to you or was it set to max??.

Hi,

did you just simply copy the ISO file to a disk or did you create a "Bootable" operating system, see this guide about creating and ISO disk:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto

Did you try the safe mode option which is about 3rd down on the boot menu??.

What version are you trying to install??.
